Today is for sure a Marvelous Monday! I had a great, relaxing weekend that was full of fun and family time! Thanks, Healthy Diva, again for creating this wondful community. You are turning me into a Monday lover! Lets begin…
Marvelous is the fact that I had a lot of “me” time this weekend. My family and I headed up to Fresno to see my brother perform his last high school marching band competition. My dad is one of the helper parents and my sister is a music coach, so I knes going into the trip that they would be preoccupied. Me, on the other hand? I had a few books and writing blog posts to keep me company. I thought, at first, that I would be bored the whole weekend. I hate doing things by myself and it is so hard for me to stop and relax. However, I really had no choice this weekend. I spent a lot of my time waiting in the car. I thought I would have gone crazy, but I didn’t! I had the best time catching up on my devotionals, reading, running books, and prepping blog posts! It was nice to not be so busy, running around all over the world for once.
Marvelous is the 12 tickets my friends and I got to go see Conan! How the heck did we get 12? Well, we wanted to cover our bases so each of us applied for 4 tickets. We figured with 4 entries, we were bound to get at least 1 set of tickets. I received an email on Thursday with tickets to a show and we were thrilled! Then, Kevin proceeded to text me and say that he also got 4 tickets, and then my sister received another 4 tickets, too! All I have to say is we are going to have so much fun with all our crazy friends in the audience! I cannot wait.

Marvelous is the California weather is finally feeling like winter! Yeah for cute sweaters and beanies! (Okay… Maybe it isn’t as cold as it was on our last ski trip to Utah, but it was close!)

Marvelous is the Happiness Project. Julie’s November Book Club is reading this book and I decided to get in on the action. I am half way through it and can already say that it is changing my thinking on so many life situations! Stay tuned for a review in a couple of week.
Marvelous is my ability to run! I am so blessed not to have any calf problems! I have been working really hard to incorporate corrective exercises, stretching, and icing into my workout routine so I can continue running. I am loving life because, as of late, I have been pain free! Here’s to one more week of smooth running!
My Question For You Is…
- What is Marvelous about your Monday???
Alright, I think that’s enough marvelous for one day. I hope your Monday is a wonderful one and I will catch you all tomorrow!
See ya~ Kay

I am so happy you can run pain free. Enjoy all this family time!
