The 20-40-60 Workout

Morning, everyone! I hope your days are going well so far!

I am so excited because today is the first day of my internship! I am so excited to be able to train individuals in the corporate setting and help more people change their lives and get healthy! I am also so nervous, I barely slept last night- but it was all for a good reason, I think. I am just so ready to work with my new co-workers because they seem like such awesome people. However, I also tend to get nervous and am a little shy when I first meet people. This really bugs me, so I am going to try and go out of my way to get over my silly fear and just be Kaylie!

Before I get my day started, I wanted to share a workout I came up with recently. It is super easy, and requires almost no equipment- only a jump rope! As of late, I have really enjoyed coming up with at-home workouts for you guys so you don’t have to go to a gym or buy any equipment to workout! Here it is:

The 20-40-60

I hope you guys enjoy the 60 Burpees that are in this workout- I planned it that way just for your enjoyment! I know how much everyone just loves doing Burpees. ;) I kind of have this obsession with Burpees. Even though most people associate them with death, I just can’t get enough of them in my workouts! Feel free to take a 1 minute break in between each set and a 2 minute break in between each super set

My Question For You Is…

  • Do you like working out at home or in a gym?
  • How is your day so far?

See ya~ Kay

  1. I think that there are both pros and cons to working out at home vs. at the gym, or vice versa. I like working out at home, because I don’t get self-conscious, I can do it on my own timeline, I can dress however I want, and I don’t have to drive anywhere. But I also like the gym because I feel like I’m more motivated when I’m there, and they have better equipment, too.

    • I completely agree! I tend to switch it up between at-home workouts and going to the gym. Plus- if it is raining, I have to do my cardio at a gym!

  2. ouch this looks like a killer, saving this one!

    • Gah- I know!!! Those planks make me curse everything that is around me! But they give me an awesome toned arm and tummy so it all works out in the end! :)

  4. Girl, you have been sharing some awesome workouts lately! THANK YOU =) I absolutely love how you can do them in your own home too.

  5. That is a killer workout love!! Wow haha…I’m tempted to try it, although the burpees make me very very scared…I thoroughly dislike them haha. However, the fact that I can do this without a gym or equipment is awesome…I only have 5 lb weights and no gym membership so I’m always looking for little workouts like this to do in my living room :)
