Happy Sunday, everyone! How are things going for you this weekend? I hope somewhat relaxing- I mean, it is Sunday!
I am super excited today because today is the day that I get to recap about Workout Buddies. Well- you can recap tomorrow, too, but it starts today! I have had such an amazing experience this month, meeting my Workout Buddy & am so excited to share w/ you all how the month went! Let’s begin, shall we?
For the month of January, I had the pleasure of being randomly paired with Caitlin, who blogs at Chasing Chels! I seriously was so blessed to have been paired with Caitlin- she was so supportive and super fun to get to know! We are both into running and yoga, making it easy for us to bond as soon as we began exchanging emails.
Part of the program is to tell your Workout Buddy some kind of fitness/health goal that you want to work towards for the month. For January, my goals were to get more sleep & run 4 days a week. While my ankle prohibited be from running 4 days a week on the 3rd week of the month and I did have some restless nights, all in all I would say I succeeded in achieving my goals!
A huge part of that success was because of Caitlin and her awesome words of encouragement. When I had a bad week, she seemed to pick me right up and help me put things into perspective. I also loved being able to help her achieve her goals- one of which was the same as mine! I told you guys- we were meant to be buddies!
All in all, this month was awesome getting to know Caitlin and help her stick to her goals towards a healthier self! I am super stoked for next month’s Workout Buddies!!!
