In November of this year, I will be running my first marathon. There is a HUGE difference between a half marathon and a full marathon- a half marathon can be done with minimal training (trust me I have done so), a half marathon is just as intense as a full marathon WITHOUT all the craziness that makes a marathon runner a TRUE marathon runner.
What kind of craziness am I talking about?
- Running 50+ miles per week
- Buying Chomps or Goop in bulk and consuming it on a weekly basis instead of simply buying one or two the night before race day.
- Loosing toe nails & gaining blisters.

I am doing this to prove to people that anyone can turn themselves into a full fledged athlete! While I used to be an atlete in high school, I feel as if I have lost my drive since I began college. Because of this, I feel training for a marathon will be the perfect thing for me to regain my athletic self! If you feel like you have an athlete inside that is dying to come out, please use this segment and my blog in general to inspire and motivate you AS WELL to becoming a 26.2 Athlete!
